National Guardsman Frank Carvill who was ambushed and killed
outside Baghdad in June 2004. His memory was honored in the renaming of 59th Street between Woodside Avenue and 60th Street to Frank Carvill Place on November 1st 2005.

One of the founding members of the Emerald Isle Immigration Centre and member of the Cork Association.
